Forward Marcus Rashford was officially unveiled today as Barcelona’s latest signing. During his presentation, he wore the number 14 jersey, a number once worn by former French striker Thierry Henry.
The Englishman, currently valued at €30 million, joins Barça on loan from Manchester United, the club that holds his contract. Barcelona has the option to either make the move permanent or return him to Manchester United.
Before the transfer, 27-year-old Rashford was going through a rough patch in the Premier League, scoring only 10 goals in 43 matches last season.
