Houston struck first when E. Ponce found the net in the 35th minute, capping off a tightly contested first half with few clear chances for either side.
Just as it seemed LA Galaxy were heading for another defeat, Lucas Sanabria rescued a point deep into stoppage time, scoring in the 90’+9’ after a setup from John Nelson.
