The goals for the Angelenos were scored by Cuevas in the 31st minute after a pass from German star Marco Reus, and Diego Fagúndez, also assisted by Reus. For Philadelphia, the scorers were N. Harriel (48′), league top scorer Tai Baribo (50′), and again Baribo deep into stoppage time at 90’+6.

With this loss, LA Galaxy remains at the bottom of the standings with just 3 points, showing no signs of being able to collect enough points to fight for a playoff spot.
